Secret of a Dark Sky
We took a family vacation to Acadia National Park during a new moon. I wanted to capture the milky way over the iconic sea shore (Otter Cliff). As I cleared the trees onto the rocks in near pitch darkness, the milky way was brilliant over the sky (brightest I ever saw it). Within 1 hr, it was gone from fog.
