Tanzania – Ndutu Plains near Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Feb. 2018 The Secretary Bird (Sagittarius serpentarius) is a large raptor related to hawks and eagles. These birds are basically terrestrial, taking to flight only when hard-pressed.
