Antipolo,the Pilgrimage capital of the Philippines, enshrines the image of Our lady of Peace and Voyage. It is an image of Immaculate Conception and was brought to the Philippines in 1626 during the galleon trade. The title of the image was derived from its 7 safe and successful voyages of the Manila-Acapulco Galleons with the image aboard as its patroness. The shrine attracts millions of pilgrims every year especially on Good Friday and the eve of May 1, where the devotees of the Virgin of Antipolo trek going to the shrine from various location in Rizal and Metro Manila.
