There is an attraction in Chattanooga, TN named Rock City. It is atop Lookout Mountain and from there one can see seven states. Decades ago, hundreds of roadside barns were painted in several of those states, basically serving as billboards. The attraction still exists, although most of the advertising has taken more modern forms. On some backroads, though, one looks in the right places, they can still find these wonderful advertisements.
