18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
Selma's room

In this project, I propose to implement this conception of space, as it would be perceived by people. So I have developed a digital imagery comprising representations of spaces with which individuals interact on a daily basis, from different perspectives: microscopic - through the houses in which they live, and macroscopic - through the images of this Universe of which we are part without even realizing it. The incorporation of infinite elements, to the size of the universe, in a seemingly limited and restricted space, established at the borders of the spaces within which individuals live on a daily basis, creates a feeling of immensity in spaces that are reclusive during these periods of confinement. The works of art created are then located in a new plastic space, between art and reality. And these new views that seem incarnate out of space and time, then create dreamlike images leaving room for contemplation.
