This is a re-enactment of Dade's Battle in 1838 at the Dade Battlefield Historic State Park in Bushnell, Florida. This picture captures the moment when a Seminole Warhorse first sees his enemy in Battle. His rider is yet to be aware, but his horse has eyes on the trouble yet to come. This is a perfect example of a horse being a partner in battle in unison with his rider.
