Seraphina
After climbing for hours at over 15,000ft. in the Andean wilderness, a sudden blizzard hit the area, forcing us to take shelter behind a large boulder. There, I met Seraphina, the woman pictured. She told me she lives in Quiswarani, a local village, and was taking her horse & some supplies over the mountain to the Sacred Valley. We sat in that spot for over an hour sharing stories, shivering, and listening to the whinnies of her horse echoing in the distance. Truly a moment I will never forget.
