After climbing into the depths of the earth into the larva tube tunnels created by molten larva in Northern Arizona near Flagstaff, one is captivated by the open spaces of pine trees. It is hard to imagine that this cool,almost alpine scene was once covered by active volcanoes spitting out molten larva.
