My daughter, a Navy wife, wanted me to see Waikiki before I left Oahu. The beach area was so congested that I didn't know if I could endure, let alone enjoy, being in that famous spot. Then I saw the solitary sailboat on the skyline. I took a spiritual flight out to that boat and it made all the difference.
