A misty morning of the Sea of Cortez provided the perfect moody canvas. Covered by the fog, a flock of pelicans rested in the stillness waiting for the sky to open and their epic dive fishing to begin. I approached with caution as to not disturb the serenity and to capture the layers that reveal the depth of this crew of pelicans.
