I love the challenge of capturing wildlife in action with my camera and am always eager to fine tune my skills. I was out hiking the local trails one day and decided to spend some time by the river photographing the mallard ducks as they bathed, splashed, and came in for landings on the water. These ducks are fairly common where I live, and while some might not give them a second glance because they're so abundant, I still find them beautiful and interesting enough to photograph.
