I was travelling up the windy road to Norquay Ski Resort in search of Big Horn Sheep. At the pullout overlooking the town of Banff, we stopped to photograph the herd. On the rock wall, a couple of Ravens were hanging around. Fascinated by their behaviour, we watched them preening each other, watch the sheep, scavenge the area for food and hop up the rocky bank. After the second raven flew into the trees, I watched the smaller raven preen its own feathers in the beautiful sunlight. Once finished, it shook, sending feathers and small particles in every direction. I captured this image called Shake it Off.
