Shaking Fist at the Sky
I took this photograph at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York, where Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony are buried, among many others. I wanted to capture this statue's shaking of the fist (my interpretation) that such legends of social change are no longer with us (when we so desperately need them).
