Shanghai Gazes at the Cosmos
The Tianma Radio Telescope, wrapped in morning mist in Songjiang, is Shanghai’s "ear" reaching from the ground to the universe. The mist softens the cold rigidity of the precision equipment, yet highlights its persistence in gazing at deep space—with this quiet array on the outskirts of the city, it converses with stardust billions of light-years away, a cosmic romance hidden in the daily warmth of Shanghai.
