Shaun the Sheep nudibranch
This is a photo taken underwater, of a nudibranch (a type of colorful sea slug) known affectionately as "Shaun the Sheep" due to its resemblance to a character in a series of British claymation films. Taking this photo posed challenges in that the nudibranch was about the size of a grain of rice, so finding it in the first place was difficult and required a local guide. I used an extreme macro lens on my camera to take the photo, as well as a colored light to light up the background and a snoot to highlight the animal itself. Note that what appear to be eyes are actually just markings on the front of the nudibranch.
