Sheepherders in the high range
Sheepherders roam the high mountain ranges of the Wasatch Mountains in Utah, United States, braving cold and harsh elements sometimes above 9,000 feet. These particular men are Peruvians who contract with sheep ranchers to do this work. Usually they live a solitary life, unless the herd is large, then they combine resources. They live in simple sheepherder wagons surrounded by many dogs and a few horses.
