Shelter in Place

A lone tree stands in the surf at dawn on the Driftwood Beach section of Jekyll Island, Georgia. Jekyll Island is one of the barrier islands in the Georgia low country famous for its beautiful, remote beaches. The Driftwood Beach area is a stretch of beach littered with driftwood and trees that have been battered over the years by hurricanes and nor'easters.
