Independent farmer Klaus Zimmermann moves a flock of grass-fed sheep between rented pastures near his farm in Amery, WI. At a time when agriculture in the United States is coping with rapid corporate consolidation, ever-increasing industrialization, and the ecological and moral impact of factory farming, a small but expanding community of people such as Klaus and his wife Emily are working to revitalize locally sourced, ethically produced food.
