I was visiting Tokyo and stayed at a hotel near the Shimbashi station. One rainy evening I walked to the station to take photographs to try and capture the energy of the evening rush hour commuters. I thought the contrast of those on the street with their open umbrellas and those protected from the rain on the train platform above made for an interesting contrast.
