Goats in the Trees The fruit of the Argan tree is particularly appealing to goats. They climb the trees and eat the fruit, swallowing the core whole. This nut passes through the goats digestive system and ends up in the goat droppings, where it is collected from the ground at the base of the trees. It is then ground by the local woman who sell it as the well known Argan oil.
