The city of Almaty is known for its mountains. Just an hour by bus, and you’re out of the crowded city and into the snowy mountains, breathing in fresh air and enjoying the landscape. This photo was taken at the Shymbulak ski resort, which is very easy to reach. In the picture, we can see a majestic mountain, the cable car, and snow cannons that create a smooth surface for skiers and snowboarders.
