I had just watched the changing of the guard at Arlington National Cemetery. I was struck by how silent a large crowd of people stayed during the ceremony. When I walked around to the front of the amphitheater, I saw this sign, and thought the backdrop of the amphitheater with our nation’s flag waving was beautiful.
