Some friends and I had been approached by a few friendly horses. There was a mutual respect in the moments that we shared with these horses and in a sudden moment, they scampered off. The combination of the still silence and the sound of the horses hooves stomping on the snow was one of the most beautiful simple experiences I have ever had.
