A photo of a romantic couple watching steam rise from a geyser at Yellowstone National Park. It was my first time visiting Yellowstone and I was quite frankly blown away by how well the National Park Services had managed to preserve the geysers. Sure they have had issues with people throwing coins into certain geysers but for the most part they had done an immaculate job helping the public enjoy this natural wonder while preserving it. Wooden bridges minimize the impact of hundreds of people walking over the geysers. Game wardens assist visitors an educate us why we should stray beyond the the bridges. Bisson roam freely minding their own business. Generations have seen Yellowstone and it is still amazing today. In my mind this is a great example of sustainable tourism.
