I was in Washington D.C. visiting the historical monuments. Within a lake, I was able to encounter the duck swimming by itself. I wanted to capture the pure essence of a duck just roaming around freely within the world. I wanted to capture to clear blue water and the duck within the middle to put some contrast between deep blue and a dark figure.
