Silver Thaw
In the spring of the year we always expect an ice storm sometime in March. This storm, known as Sheila's Brush, coats everything in a layer of ice called silver thaw. It is beautiful but can be deadly when the ice becomes so thick that it brings down power lines... leaving us in the dark for days on end.
