This photo was taken of the largest Alpha male silverback Gorilla in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trek to see Gorillas in the wild was inspired by the book "Last Chance to See", in which, the late Douglas Adams describes an incredible experience with a troop of Silverback Gorillas. The story was so impactful that it stuck with me for 14 years and for my honeymoon, I shared the experience of seeing and capturing moments of wild Silverback Gorillas.
