This photo from the series "simple connections between lovers and nature" was taken on my 3-day trip to Elbrus. Initially, I planned to shoot a diary project together with a young man about our journey, but upon arrival on Elbrus, it turned into something much bigger. The state of insignificance, of a small person among the mountains towering between us and the majestic nature, could not fit into my head. I was sure that this diary would grow into something more, I would create a work that fully reflects this feeling that lands you, which gives you a rare opportunity to simply surrender to this nature, let it in and contemplate. Then she will give you much more. The photo shows my young man, and she was the first in a series of works that I did later. Now I understand that she was the first for a reason, it was a kind of passage into those secrets of the mountains that we could feel later. It was the first heavy climb to a height, the first halt, but the picture, which now embodies a kind of rite of "joining", as it seems to me, has become the key in this work.
