A bright, sunny summer day at Simpson Beach located just below Shore Acres Botanical Gardens in Coos Bay, Oregon. This was once a private beach on a large, rich property which is now shared as a local and tourism treat in this sleepy little coastal town. Simpson Beach is surrounded by cliffs and thick forests full of hiking for the adventurous! I love the way the grass leads to the sand which leads to the sea... It is a truly unique beach.
