The Nera river originates from the Sibillini mountains (Marche), it has flowing between Terni and the municipality of Papigno and flows into the Tevere River. It is one of the most massive rivers in Italy, thanks to the presence of the famous Cascata delle Marmore. Over the years, the Galleto hydroelectric plant has exploited its course to supply energy to the Terni industries. In addition, toxic wastes deriving from the aforementioned industrial sites were also spilled along the river.I was walking through my night neighborhood.
