While exploring an estuary, I heard a most melodious bird song. Such a series of high-pitched musical notes and tones which was very loud, I searched out to find this Painted Bunting. This male is loaded with a rainbow of colors from blues, bright greens, and reds. He was singing to his mate who was perched not too far away from him. Unfortunately, the female Painted Bunting is only donned in a light plain greenish color.
