We had just finished having lunch at Beak, the former radio broadcasting building during which we listened to a local band practicing. Then we walked toward Baranof's Castle and I spotted the view across Sitka Sound which seemed perfect. Taken from the base of Baranof's Castle, this photo captures Sitka Lighthouse and Sound with a passing Gull and fishing Troller. The fog on the snow-capped mountains on Rockwell Island created the perfect atmosphere for both the photo and our visit to Sitka.
