Sleeping baby
Burkina Faso, one of the poorest countries in the world, ranks fourth in Africa in the production of gold. Much of the gold comes from small-scale mines, where gold seekers from all over. While children are labouring in the tunnels, crushing and cutting stones, the yongsters are put asleep on dirty ground when their mothers are at work nearby.
