These beautiful birds nest on my porch every spring. The mothers are used to me having my coffee every morning just a few feet from the nest. This year I decided to brave a photo of the baby, being very careful not to disturb or wake her. I now how at least a dozen Hummingbirds who visit me, several of whom will come within a foot of my head as if to say hi.
