We had a cycling tour around Scandinavia for 1050 km by bike. One of our target place was Savonlinna city in Finland, when famous opera festival are held. This embarkment of the lake which leads to Savonlinna castle, the main place of this festival. The castle was of great importance because it stayed on the border of Ancient Russian territory and it protected Finland from attacks from the East.
