This is the image of a small fish market in my hometown’s coastal area, Quang Ngai, Vietnam. This small fish market is the main source of income for the women in the area.Their daily routine involves waking up early, preparing their fishing baskets and a motorbike. They swim out to the sea, standing under the cold water, waiting for the fishing boats to return from distant waters. The baskets filled with fish are then transported to the mainland using small buckets. As the buckets approach the shore, the fish sellers compete to be the first to acquire the fresh and delicious catch. Afterwards, they return to the beach, pay the fish owners, and travel to various markets across the province to sell their fish, bringing the taste of the sea to everyone.
