I spent at least 20 minutes studying and photographing this dragonfly. It flew up and returned to this perch 3 times during that time. While watching it I noticed that it would occasionally tip it’s face up. I started to watch for that and started trying to capture it. The photo is titled ‘Smile’, because well it looks like the dragonfly is smiling and well it makes me smile every time I look at it.
