Happiest snail in the world! This "smiling" snail shot was captured near Plitvice, Croatia. I've tried to identify the species, but with no luck. But I'd be interested to find out if anyone knows. The shell was around 40mm tall, 50mm wide and long. There are 4 riged whorls including the tip and main whorl, apexing at an angle about 100degrees.
