One thing I love to do is travel to exotic and wild landscapes and frame it in such a way that includes a small person/subject in frame. This gives the audience a great sense of scale and also allows the audience to relate to the photo in some way. Having a person in particular in frame allows a medium to be created between photo and audience that allows the audience to relate to the person in the photo and imagine themselves in frame. It also gives the whole image a very dreamy feel.
