Snow and low cloud over Grasmere
Mid-afternoon in the English Lake District and the skies are grey, the light is fading and the landscape is virtually colourless, but these factors - together with the mood delivered by low cloud - combine to create a dramatic vista, enhanced by the reflection in the lake.
