Snow capped Sierra from a window seat
On a trip to Chicago from Sacramento via Las Vegas in mid July, I was treated to a stunning view of the central Sierra Nevada still with snow cover on a particularly clear morning. The view seemed to be all the way to the Pacific Ocean that morning.
