After meandering up the mountain road, leaving the dramatic valley of Rjukan below, the plateau unfolds with Gaustatoppen rising above. This Christmas, I was photographing from the early morning, impressed by the very long Scandinavian blue hour. I took this picture near Kvitåvatn lake.
