Taken on a sleepless night during the COVID-19 pandemic, this photo is a long exposure to capture the moody nature of street light travelling through windows and illuminating an otherwise familiar space. This image is filled with optical distortions/effects stumbled on in the process of collecting the image. In a year of political and public health upheaval, this photo reflects late night ruminations on the difference between (and importance of) how things look and how things are.
