On January 1, 2015, a clear, crisp, cold winter day, this mature bald eagle was soaring above the Skagit River looking for salmon remains to eat. I decided to start the new year with an eagle photographic float trip on the Skagit River. It was beautiful with lots of eagles to be seen and photographed. This eagle was one of my rewards.
