When schools closed down in Spring 2020, I did my best to get my family outside and into empty, wild places as often as possible. This photo was taken in May 2020, in the Algodones Sand Dunes in southern California. It was still blazing hot in the desert, and we were definitely the only ones around. This is my 5 year old son enjoying the open space.
