I took this photo in 2021 after about a year of being asked to "socially distance." After fighting very hard for a good photo of these dunes the night before and (mostly) failing, I had largely given up hope for the next morning. I woke up and immediately saw this hiker on the dunes. It was a stunning scene and very symbolic of the socially distancing we had just gone through.
