I captured this photo of a rarely seen Solar Halo on 5/10/15 above Lindquist Beach on St Thomas, USVI. A sustainable travel project to me involves enjoying nature as is, suspended in time, without interfering with its existence. capturing an image with a camera maintains a serene co-existence between man and nature, respecting the environment and paying homage to its simplicity and and reveling in its complexities.
