Solar Prominences and Corona during Solar Eclipse Totality
This photo of a Solar Eclipse was taken during a weather balloon launch and recovery mission during the Aug. 21st, 2017 Solar Eclipse by the Oak Park High School Rocketry Team (Oak Park, CA) which had traveled to Lincoln Nebraska to be near the path of Totality. Solar corona and solar prominences/flares are clearly visible.
