Solitude at the Norman Rockwell Pond

I don't like to rely on luck. On an unplanned trip to Mt. Greylock's summit, I decided to quickly stop at the Norman Rockwell Pond, along the Appalachian Trail. To my surprise, the water was perfectly reflective and serene. I found a view that I could only peek through with my camera and the sun complemented it by illuminating the branches in front of me. Sometimes luck is OK.
