sông có khúc, người có lúc
Translation – "rivers have meanders, human life has phases" A Vietnamese proverb in which whenever you or someone you know is facing a difficult time in life, people would say “sông có khúc, người có lúc” to comfort you. Just like a long river that has many twists and turns, life has many phases along the way on our journey. Things can turn around quickly from one direction to the next. This proverb seems to really resonate with the current state of my own life and the tests that have been thrown at me this year. I shared this beautiful day the photo was taken with a special lady to me. This submission is a symbol of the both of us and our ablity to overcome things together. Anh yeu em.
